The outline for this story sounded (to me) pretty interesting, so I bought it on Amazon (fortunately as a special deal of the day, so I didn't waste much money or effort).

Unfortunately, the author can't write. She has no sense of grammar, or continuity, or even how to correctly construct a sentence. Okay, that's not completely true; some of her sentences are grammatical, and some bits of the story follow on from each other, but so many of them don't, or aren't, that they destroy the decent parts.

This book pretty quickly got so much on my nerves that I abandoned it after less than 10%, which is very unusual for me.
