Hi.
I am Antony Stone. I'm a self-employed computer consultant based in Cologne, Germany and Oxford, England.
You can find out more about my professional activities from my LinkedIn page or from my business website.
I do what I do for a living because I enjoy it, and I'm good at it, and I like getting paid to do what I enjoy.
I play with all sorts of technical things in my spare time (which basically means that I don't have any spare time any more), ranging from VoIP telephones to Lego Mindstorms. I also enjoy skiing, although I live in the wrong part of Germany to make that convenient, so I go to Austria every year.
The above is no longer true, because in the year I turned 64 I decided to retire, slowly - meaning that I gradually worked one fewer day per week over a 12 month period until I got to zero days in the year I turned 65.
You can find out more about what I've done with my extra time since retiring, if you feel like it.
You can send me spam, if you like, to Spam@Gruntle.co.uk
If you'd prefer for me to actually see and read your email, though, put my name in front of the @ sign instead - any of the following will work:
This website mainly contains information I've had to work out for myself, often based on notes from other people which I've found on the Internet (an interesting page from one of my customers) and which point me in the right direction, and which I hope may in turn be of help or interest to others.
