====== Cyber Seed quadrilogy 4: Sycamore XL ======

Sycamore XL follows on from [[Sycamore X]] and is the final part of the quadrilogy.

The title of the previous book turned out to be written in Roman numerals, as "Sycamore ten", however this one is not "Sycamore forty".

Sycamore X was a collection of ten (well, actually eleven) short stories taking place in the same timeframe as Sycamore and Sycamore 2.

Sycamore XL is a collection of 12 stories (I guess you might get it to fit on 40 pages, given the right combination of font size and page size, if you want "Sycamore XL" to be a bit more meaningful) which also take place in the timeframe of Sycamore and Sycamore 2, however these stories tend to be a bit more interlinked in that they often feature characters (often from a different perspective, which is interesting) from previous stories (either the main novels, or preceding Sycamore X/XL short stories).

The stories of Sycamore X & XL are okay, and reasonably interesting, but it's misleading to call the four books a quadrilogy.
